State name or territory. Includes U.S. states and foreign entities classified under FIPS as ‘Principal Administrative Divisions’.

Parameters:

  • geometry – The geometry parameter is used to filter the results by a specific geographic area. The value should be a GeoJSON geometry object.

  • id

  • country_code – The purpose of ISO 3166 is to define internationally recognized codes of letters and/or numbers that we can use when we refer to countries and their subdivisions.

  • state_fips_code – State FIPS code.

  • state_name – State name.

  • state_postal_code – State postal abbreviation. A two-letter USPS state postal abbreviation.
